Timings

The most common booking is for 2 x45 minutes but other options are 2 x60, 3 x45, 3 x40 or 2 x30. Please make an enquiry to discuss what is best for your event. Jon requires 45 minutes to set up his equipment and will usually arrive at least an hour before the performance start time.

Equipment

Jon uses the highest quality equipment and as a result his performances sound excellent.  Jon will always take his digital stage piano and compact PA with him, and if your venue already has a piano that is in good condition, Jon is willing to play this at his discretion. All of Jon’s equipment is PAT tested and he has up to £10 million of public liability insurance cover.

How Do I make a Booking?

Submit an booking enquiry to Jon by email or simply give him a call.  Feel free to provide Jon with all the information you have about the event, location and timings desired, or simply have a chat to get the ball rolling. Once you are happy with the details, you will be issued with a entertainment booking contract and be asked to make a 20% deposit.

What security do I get?

As part of the contract, the artist only has the right to terminate the booking contract on the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event.

Can I see Jon before booking?

As Jon specializes in private functions this is not always possible, however if this is important to you it is recommended that you include this in your enquiry as you can then be informed of any upcoming public performances.

How loud will Jon be?

Jon can alter the volume of his equipment to a perfectly appropriate volume for your event, whether this is to quietly sit the music just below the chit chat in a small room, or to liven up a party for a bit of dancing.  Jon’s P.A can cater for up to 200 noisy guests.

Can Jon learn requests?

In most cases, Jon can learn a few songs upon request. If a song or piece of music is particularly demanding, or the amount of songs exceeds 2, Jon will charge a rehearsal fee of £60.

How long does it take Jon to set up?

Depending on the venue itself, it usually takes Jon around 45 minutes.

Can I pick the songs?

Yes, you can pick the set list from Jon’s current repertoire, however Jon may need to have a hand in the order of songs due to performance requirements. You may also find that it is easier for you to let Jon use his experience to pick the majority of the set list, and also leave some song flexibility to allow Jon to read the audience in the moment.

What are Jons requirements on the day?

Usually all Jon requires is food appropriate to the time of day, a place to change/warm up, and access to drinking water.

Does Jon have Insurance?

Jon has public liability insurance of up to £10,000,000 and his equipment is PAT tested for safety.
