Private Events
Whether it is a summer BBQ, a family birthday event, a New Years Eve party at home, or a marriage proposal, Jon has played at most types of private parities and events. The diversity of Jon’s piano and vocals can provide music for settings that range from sophisticated background music for some Cocktails, an upbeat set to get people dancing, or a romantic moment for two.
Garden Party
The food is delicious, the drinks are flowing, and the weather is just right, why not put the icing on the cake and have some live music! Jon can perform an upbeat set, or something more laid back, or a mixture of everything. If the party is outside, then it is always recommended to have the music there too, why not set aside and decorate a mini ‘stage’ area and have your own summer festival!
Birthday Party
You’ve invited a large number of friends, and found a great venue, but you want to make sure that the party has the right atmosphere, and gets off to a great start. Why not have Jon playing as guests arrive to set the tone, and make sure that the party gets going right away. Having Jon playing over welcome drinks, and then for after dinner drinks really makes for a great birthday. Let’s also not forget that special song!
Anniversary
Remember that first dance all those years ago? Why not re-live it with some live music performed by a professional Wedding Singer! Start the celebrations off with a 30 minute Jazzy drinks reception then perhaps 45 minutes of love songs during dinner. Finally, after the speeches surprise your guests with that romantic re-lived first dance, followed by another 45 minute set of fun, upbeat numbers.
Proposal
Jon doesn’t always play at full blown events, he has also taken part in a few intimate marriage proposal surprises. A previous client hired a lavish penthouse apartment that had a grand piano (using air BnB!). The apartment was decorated with candles and rose petals, and when the unknowing lucky lady arrived and entered the room, Jon played and sung the couple’s favorite song whilst the proposal took place. How romantic!
