Weddings
Jon has been playing at weddings for almost a decade and is highly experienced in all aspects of live wedding music. If you have a special song that you would like for the ceremony, first dance, or any part, then Jon will happily learn it as part of a normal package.
Wedding Ceremony
As your guests enter the ceremony room, Jon can perform a selection of songs to set the tone for your special moment. These songs can be just the piano, or include vocals too. When the time finally arrives, Jon can then perform a song of your choice as you walk down the aisle, take your time and make the moment last! Next Jon will perform some music whilst the register is signed, and then play you out with a bang as you walk out as the new couple!
Drinks Reception
The drinks reception after the ceremony is where the celebrations begin. Why not start them off with some live music to help warm up the crowd? Jon can set up for outside drinks, or inside romance. There is nothing like listening to some Sinatra whilst sipping that summer champagne, or instead how about a modern live-lounge vibe to give your reception a classy touch? Then once people have had a few drinks, we can start to pick up the tempo and fun towards the end of the set. This can all be tailored to your own personal taste!
Wedding Breakfast
If you want to keep that special atmosphere up during the wedding breakfast, why not hire a pianist singer to play a couple of sets! Whether you want a selection of beautiful love songs in the backgound as guests enjoy their food, or perhaps a more upbeat set that gets everyone singing along, Jon has the repertoire and experience to suit your needs. Better still, Jon can read your crowd and adjust his sets to the moment!
First Dance
Hire a white baby grand piano (optional idea!) and entertain your wedding party with a jazzy cocktail hour whilst the evening guests arrive! Then top the cocktail hour off with the most romantic moment, the first dance, performed and sung live at the grand piano!! The Full Works
For those of you who are planning a low key evening reception, there is still plenty of dancing to be had by the piano! If you have a small venue that doesn’t cater for loud music, a smaller crowd, or maybe you simply want a garden-party style reception, Jon can cater.
Upbeat numbers to dance to, or simply fill the air with smooth vibes whilst guests enjoy drinks and company. If your evening reception is outside, how about a first dance under the night sky! What could be more romantic!
Evening Reception
Planning a low-key evening recption for your wedding? Whether you have a small amount of guests, or you are just going for more of a relaxed vibe, Jon can provide that party feeling with up-beat numbers, and if your guests feel the urge, some sing-alongs to suit! Jons performing style with just piano and vocals is enough to get small groups on their feet dancing, or perhaps just enoying the general live music ambience!
